Blue Bell Creameries appointed a new president after CEO & President Ricky Dickson announced his retirement in September after serving 43 years with the company.
Jimmy Lawhorn, who has worked for Blue Bell Creameries for 26 years, and has served the company in many capacities, started his new role as president yesterday when the Texas-based ice cream manufacturer announced his appointment.
Former President Dickson, said in a press release, “I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jimmy for over 20 years,” Dickson said. “Jimmy is intelligent, determined, and humble. He is a man of integrity and loves his family and community. I could not be more pleased that he will be the next leader of Blue Bell.”
