Boil water notice in effect for Anderson, Richards, Shiro, and Roans Prairie

February 16, 2021 by Andre Perrard

A boil water notice has been posted for numerous cities in Grimes County, after power disruptions due to Winter Storm Uri.

According to the Anderson Water Company, power outages in the eastern part of the county have led to the need for a boil water notice for the towns of Anderson, Shiro, Richards, and Roans Prairie.

That is in effect until further notice.

The City of Navasota also has a boil water notice in effect until further notice, following a large water main break last week.
