Bond set for Madison County man accused of attempted murder

The Madison County man facing attempted murder charges has his bond set.

The incident happened around 4:30 pm on Tuesday, where the man, Adam Carter, fired two shots into a car containing a woman and child and another shot at a good Samaritans vehicle as they drove away.

Carter was found at his home nearby after a nearly four hour manhunt.

Carter will face charges of Aggravated Assault against Family with Weapon and two counts of Child Endangerment with imminent Danger of Serious Bodily Injury. He remains in the Madison County Jail with bonds set at 9 million dollars.
