A Brazos valley organization received some welcome news last week.
The Boys and Girls club of the Brazos Valley received land to build their new facilities in West Bryan plus a two million dollar donation.
The Bryan city Council approved last Tuesday donating more than six acres on beck Street for a new building, providing also an easement for another 27 acres for recreational use.
On Thursday, January 16th, the club received two million dollars from Donald Adam of American Momentum Bank and his wife Donna.
Groundbreaking is expected before the end of March, and construction to take around 18 months, weather permitting.
