A Brenham man is in the Brazos County jail for the 5th time since 2012 for an outstanding warrant and a new drug charge.
According to the arrest report from College Station police, they received a suspicious person call on University Drive around 10 am Wednesday morning. Upon making contact with the man, dispatch noted he had a warrant from Bryan Police for an open container charge, according to online records.
When searching he man, police found a glass pipe in his front pocket, with the bowl busted, but the stem intact. The officers observed methamphetamine inside the pipe, and also removed a small baggie from the other front pocket with also contained methamphetamine. Field test kits later confirmed the substances to be methamphetamine.
The man was arrested, and identified as 34 year old Brandon O’Neal Andrews of Brenham. He was charged wit Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1, and remains in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $5,000.
