Bryan police have arrested a Brenham man on charges of shooting a Bryan man in the doorway of his apartment last week.
According to Bryan PD, they arrested 38 year old Cochise Hickey of Brenham on Tuesday, for his involvement in the October 26th shooting. Hickey is accused of being part of a group that planned to rob 46 year old Robert Ray Morrison. In the arrest report, Hickey was not identified as the one who shot Morrison, who later died from his injuries.
Hickey was aware that other participants were armed, according to the arrest report. College Station Police received an anonymous tip on Hickey’s whereabouts, and arrested him following a traffic stop for not having insurance.
Hickey is in jail on bonds totaling $83,000.
