February 8, 2021 by Willy1550

A Brenham man, who was arrested for multiple warrants on Saturday, faces multiple other charges after assaulting two jailers.

According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, they arrested 24 year old Jamichael Djon Adams of Brenham on Saturday for multiple warrants, which included DWI, theft, and assault causing bodily injury to a family member, among others.

After being detained and taken to jail, Adams became combative, and injured two of the detention staff, who had to be treated at a hospital.

Both were released later after their treatment. One suffered facial injures and a broken ankle, while the other suffered back and leg injures.

Adams remains in the Washington County jail with no bond set.
