Brief vehicle, foot chase leads to discovery of meth and arrest of Plantersville man

A Plantersville man was arrested Sunday afternoon after being caught with methamphetamine. 

That is according to the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, they tried stopping a Crown Victoria on County Road 302 near Durango Ranch Road, when the suspect failed to yield and a pursuit began.

That went down 302 to FM 1774, then to Loretta Lane, where the suspect took off on foot, and was eventually apprehended. A search of the vehicle discovered 60 grams of suspected methamphetamine.

The man was arrested, and identified as 35 year old Agustin Molina of Plantersville.

He was booked into the Grimes County jail on charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Second Degree Felony), Evading Arrest in a Vehicle (Third Degree Felony), and Evading Arrest on Foot (Class A Misdemeanor).
