An Iola man booked in the Brazos County jail on Sunday is the brother of the man awaiting trial in the murder of a Kent More Cabinets coworker in April of last year.
25 year old Nicholas Bollin of Iola was arrested on warrants from College Station police accusing him of illegal use of a credit card that belonged to a former employer.
According to CSPD arrest reports, after Nicholas Bollin quit in mid-June, he made seven unauthorized purchases during an 11-day span at three B-C-S retail stores. Four of the purchases were at one store, where he charged over one thousand dollars to buy more than eight hundred rounds of ammunition and firearms equipment that included seven magazines.
The remaining 240 dollars in charges were for food, plants, and trees. Nicholas Bollin was arrested after being caught on store video for all seven transactions.
His brother Larry Bollin is charged with murder, among other things, for the killing of a Kent Moore Cabinet employee last April.
He is held in lieu of bonds totaling 140 thousand dollars.
