For the second time, a statewide honor goes to the host of a Bryan Broadcasting weekend program. Gloria Cooks, who hosts the “Paradise Gospel Express” program, said KAGC was named Station of The Year from the Texas Gospel Music Excellence Awards. Cooks’ program can be heard Sunday afternoons from 1-3 p.m. on Magic 97.3FM.
The Texas Association of Broadcasters has announced WTAW has received 6 First-Place awards and is a finalist for 6 more awards for our news and sports coverage from last year. WTAW competes in the Texas Broadcast News Awards radio division outside the major markets of Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.
