Bryan Council Makes Decision on Building Eastside Skate Park

August 8, 2014 by Archive

The Bryan city council heard from 19 public speakers Thursday night about a proposed skateboard park in Park Hudson.

13 spoke in favor and six neighboring homeowners were in opposition.

The council unanimously approved the Mayor Jason Bienski’s motion to pursue buying land. Bienski said he knew of four possible locations, including one in Copperfield.

The proposed Park Hudson location was off Boonville Road between the dog park and the BTU substation.
