Bryan Police Respond to Speculation of Suspects in Recent Robberies

July 25, 2014 by Archive

The Bryan police department’s investigation of two armed robberies at an apartment complex this week has started a conversation on Twitter.

Officer Kelley McKethan, responding to speculation that a Texas A&M football player was arrested, says they are still looking for one man accused of a Monday night holdup and two men involved in a separate incident on Wednesday night.

Both robberies took place at Reveille Ranch on Wellborn Road around 11 p.m.

According to the victims, each gave different descriptions of the man with a gun. The victim of the Wednesday night robbery was not able to describe a second man who was a lookout.

McKethan says anyone with information on what happened in either or both robberies is asked to call Bryan police at 979-209-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS.

Click below for comments from Kelley McKethan, visiting with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
