July 12, 2022 by Andre Perrard

A Navasota man is in jail on burglary charges after being found in a downtown building with a gun.

That was on July 6th, according to Navasota PD, in the 100 block of Washington Avenue. A business alarm triggered the police responded, and inside, they found 61 year old Titus Richardson of Navasota holding an assault rifle.

Richardson dropped the firearm when commanded, and was arrested without incident. The firearm in question was later found to be an AR 15 BB gun.

Richardson faces Burglary Charges, and is in jail.
