Among the agenda items on Monday’s Navasota City Council meeting was “consideration and possible action authorizing the City Manager to execute the Texas Birthday Bash Event Management Services Agreement with Charlie Diggs Entertainment.”
City Manager Jason Weeks said that staff unsuccessfully reached out to several other private sector companies as well, that handle entertainment events on a regular basis to take over the event.
Weeks explained the main responsibilities that Charlie Diggs Entertainment will handle.
Weeks also explained the City’s stipulations and coordination with the City of Navasota’s Music Friendly Advisory Board.
Council unanimously approved authorizing the City Manager to execute the services agreement.
