Among the agenda items at Monday’s Navasota City Council meeting, was consideration and possible action on amending fee schedules for parks and recreation and the public library.
Community Services Director, Tiffany Byers, spoke to council about the proposed changes.
There was some discussion and suggestion from council regarding some of the fees and questions on how to determine residents versus non-residents and issues with enforcement. Byers said their program uses geofencing, but they are aware that some try to “get around the system.”
Council unanimously approved the fee schedule with the proposed changes.
