There was an update on the CIP at Monday’s Navasota City Council Meeting. The 2020 Streets and Utilities Capital Improvement Project was awarded to Kieschnick General Contractors out of College Station.
The project will not only reconstruct the roadways, but also the sewer, water lines and some storm improvements on the following roads: North Brosig, Eighth Street, West Foster, Horlock, Neal, Sycamore, Terrell, Courtney, Fairway, East Hill, West Hill, Judson, North Post Oak, South Duke, North Farquhar, Moore, Sixth Street, Schumacher and Water Street. The total cost will be $7,572,446,90
