The City of Navasota has a general direction for the future of their city manager position.
After meeting in executive session for close to an hour to discuss at last night’s (Monday) city council meeting, Mayor Bert Miller gave an update on what council will do moving forward.
“Public notice will be going out the next few weeks, regarding a public input questionnaire for the choosing of a new city manager. There will be a review of all applications in a special meeting November 1st, done by city Council,” said Miller.
“Rest of the timeline will go through reviewing questionnaires, interviews, and that will be done through the week of November 22nd.”
Miller said the targeted timeline is to have new city manager selected by the end of November. Brad Stafford’s last day is scheduled for October 29th.
