The City of Navasota has announced their newest director of utilities this week, in the second of two new hiring’s.
After announcing the hiring of Bobbie Lehrmann as the new Marketing and communications coordinator Monday, the city announced Tuesday that Jennifer Reyna will be promoted from Utility Administrative Assistant to the position, having spent a few months as the interim director of utilities.
Reyna came to Navasota in August 2012 as her current position, and in 2015, she was named the Public Works Employee of the Year. She also currently serves as the Airport Manager for Navasota Municipal Airport. In late 2021, she became the first city employee to become a Texas Registered Municipal Clerk, completing the program at the University of North Texas.
