The City of Navasota is a finalist for two more big awards this year.
City Manager Brad Stafford talked about them during Thursday’s Grilling Stafford, and said they are President’s Award’s through the Texas Downtown Association.
“First is the Resiliency Award, that is for the Pretty City Committee. The second is Best Public Improvement Award for Railroad Street,” said Stafford.
“Now, there is a selection committee that will award those, but then attached to that, is a piece called the ‘People’s Choice’ award.”
He said the people’s choice voting starts October 18th, and goes through the 22nd through the Texas Downtown Association.
“You can go to the Texas Downtown Association Facebook page and vote for those two projects to be a people’s choice award. We encourage everyone to go to that site, and cast your vote for those two award nominees from the City of Navasota,” Stafford said.
Again, voting for the people’s choice awards will start October 18th, and continue through October 22nd. More information can be found on the Texas Downtown Association Facebook page.
