November 27, 2024 by Willy1550

According to a Facebook post from the City of Navasota, “The City has recently received several reports of missing or stolen items from Oakland Cemetery.

City staff has not conducted clean up or removal efforts at the cemetery since November 8th.

If you have missing flowers or items, please report those to City staff at (936) 825-6475 or by email at cemetery@navasotatx.gov.

The Navasota Police Department is taking measures to more closely monitor the cemetery.

The City is committed to maintaining the dignity and security of Oakland Cemetery and appreciates the community’s cooperation in addressing this matter.”
