As we near the end of the calendar year, the seven year director of the Grimes County Chamber of Commerce gets closer to his retirement.
Johnny McNally, who will be leaving his post on December 31st, was presented a proclamation at Monday’s Navasota City Council meeting, the final one of 2022, honoring him for all the work he has done.
“This proclamation is presented to Johnny to serve as a reminder, that even though he is retiring, he will always be remembered as a valued asset of Navasota, and Grimes County, dedicated to his position, and community,” said Miller. “Therefore, be it proclaimed, that I present this proclamation to Johnny McNally, as a testimonial to his dedication to the community, as director of the chamber the last seven years. And you have our best wishes for continued success, and happiness in the future.”
McNally has been the executive director since 2015, and helped spearhead the creation of the Navasota Economic Development Corporation.
