Two bank robberies in College Station culminated into a car chase, which ended in Navasota thanks to the help of Navasota PD.
Those robberies happened in the morning hours of Tuesday. Two Wells Fargo branches were robbed, one at Southwest and Texas, and the other at Rock Prairie and Longmire.
The suspects fled down Highway 6 southbound, where Navasota PD eventually ended the chase by deploying spike strips, as first reported by the Examiner. The chase ended just after Highway 90, near the Navasota Walmart.
One person was taken into custody, with no information or identification released.
Highway 6 southbound at Highway 90 was closed for a couple hours for processing, but has since been reopened.
CSPD says there is no danger to the public, and no further information has been released.
