The College Station school board finished its series of public hearings about proposed elementary school boundary changes on Wednesday.
The noon hour gathering drew the most speakers. Comments from four people included requests to grandfather third graders who have moved due to past rezonings, confirm enrollment numbers of affected schools to achieve balance, expand the boundary of the new Spring Creek elementary to homes behind the school, and thanking the committee and administrators for their work.

The second public hearing, last Thursday, drew two speakers. No one spoke during the first hearing on September 2nd.

Superintendent Dr. Clark Ealy says comments can still be e-mailed to feedback@csisd.org.
The CSISD board could take action on the new elementary boundaries as soon as next Tuesday’s regular meeting. They would not be implemented until August of 2015.
