Commissioners Seek Growth Plan Input

October 15, 2015 by Willy1550

Grimes County officials are asking you and your neighbors to guide them as they begin to plan for the county’s future, so the County Commissioners have scheduled a series of four town hall meetings and, according to Precinct 2 Commissioner David Dobyanski, nearly three dozen folks with plenty to say showed up for the first one, last week in Anderson.

Complaints about both county roads and infrastructure were brought up, Dobyanski tells Navasota News, but he was surprised they didn’t come up sooner.

These meetings are essential to the court’s planning, he stresses, so you can bet on seeing at least one of the commissioners at each.

And how the court eventually decides to react to these changes, Dobyanski reiterates, will depend in large part upon your thoughts.

The next meeting is at 7 Thursday October 15th evening at the Plantersville Town Hall. We’ll have a complete list of meeting for you in our Community Calendar segments. And they’re also listed on our website, www.navasotanews.com.
