Congressman Kevin Brady, who represents Grimes County, has announced a new District Director for his camp.

According to a release on Tuesday, Kevin Brady announced Conroe native Brandon Steinnman will take over the position for Heather Washburn, who served in the spot for 3 years.

Steinmann has worked previously for Congressmen Joe Barton, Ted Poe, and Alex Mooney. He formerly led the Texas Office of State-Federal Relations under Rick Perry, headed government affairs for DFW Airport, and chaired the Texas Travel Industry Association. He is the current director of the Texas Lyceum.

The Conroe native graduated Conroe High School, the University of Texas at Austin, and George Washington University.

Brady in the news release stated that he brings a “wealth of knowledge” to the district, and welcomed him into the position.
