The Texas A&M System Board of Regents is ready to act on the contract of A&M’s new Athletics Director.
The System has posted a special meeting for Wednesday at 3 p.m. to authorize A&M’s President to negotiate Trev Alberts contract.
In addition to Alberts salary and benefits, A&M will be paying Nebraska four million dollars in damages because Alberts left Nebraska before the end of this year. That was part of an eight year contract extension that Alberts signed last November.
