Grimes County Commissioners encourage public not to attend meetings through April 3rd

March 20, 2020 by Andre Perrard

Some changes are coming to the Grimes County Commissioner Court meetings for the near future.

County Judge said in a Facebook video on Friday afternoon that they are making temporary adjustments to the meetings to keep citizen’s informed. He said the court encourages the public not to attend Commissioner Court meetings in the near term, “especially between now and Friday, April 3rd of 2020.”

He says that date could be extended if needed.

They will be sharing live feeds of the upcoming meetings on their Facebook page, Grimes County Courthouse.

The first stream will be for a Special Meeting of Commissioner’s Court on Monday, March 23rd at 9 am. Their regular meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, March 25th, will also be broadcast live on Facebook at 9 am.
