It’s already been nearly a half a year since navasota’s horlock house welcomed its current batch of artists in residence. So their time among us is drawing to a close. But before they bid their final farewells, they’ll be hosting one final open house Saturday.
One of them, Andrea Edwards, says her group of artists is the first batch that isn’t all painters. She’s a photographer, Scott Gorham works with neon lights and Steve Knots an oil painter.
The open house, she continues, is a culmination of the work the artists have created during their stay. And to help celebrate Edwards says the open house will be catered by the same guy who’ll be leading the band, the old Filling Station’s owner, Mitch White.
The Open House at the Horlock House will take place from two to four, Saturday afternoon, February 6th. And in the meantime, Edwards smiles, you can still stop by Wednesday through Sunday from 9 to 6, or check them out online anytime at www.navasotaair.wordpress.com
