A call from a concerned citizen on Highway 6 near Grimes County for an erratic driver end with the man’s arrest on his second DWI charge.
The arrest report from Brazos County says they caught up with the man near FM 159, and followed him into College Station, seeing him brake erratically and change speed numerous times.
30 year old Van Tin Hmun of Highland Village said he was returning to Bryan after a golf game, where he had been drinking beer about 3 hours prior. Inside his car was an opened 12 pack of Heineken with about 9 cans empty.
Hmun failed sobriety tests, and was arrested for DWI. He was previously convicted in 2015 of the same charge.
He remains in jail on a $4,000 bond.
