If you haven’t gotten around to speaking your mind on either plans to build a bullet trail and high voltage line through the County of Grimes yet, you’d best get to it. The Texas Central Rail, Brazos Valley Transmission Line and its northern connection all have deadlines next week for you to express your concerns.
Grimes Citizen Advisory Group’s David Tullos tells Navasota News, TCR is still undergoing its scoping session and you still have a chance to tell them what you think.
As to why there are two different projects involving the same transmission line, Tullos says, it’s because two companies are each constructing half of it.
The Electrical Reliability Commission of Texas, he continues, recently deemed the proposed line as critical, which he openly refutes as just a way to make things happen faster for the project.
To voice your concerns over the electrical transmission line, go to brazosvalleyconnection.com and crosstexas.com by next Monday (Jan 5th). For the high speed rail, you must go to, dallashoustonhsr.com by a week from Friday (Jan 9th).
