Disturbance in College Station leads to warrant discovery and arrest of Plantersville man

July 26, 2021 by Andre Perrard

A Plantersville man is in the Brazos County jail after a disturbance call leads to discovery of two warrants.

That happened on July 17th, when officers were dispatched to Roughneck Drive in Bryan, where a man and woman were causing a disturbance. The man identified himself as George Oatis, but struggled spelling the last name.

Dispatch could not find a man by that name, but another name, 48 year old George Samuel Mullenix of Plantersville, came up. Officers confirmed his identity, and were advised he had two warrants out of Brazos County for failure to appear.

Mullenix was arrested for his two outstanding warrants, plus was charged with Failure to Identify. He remains in jail on bonds totaling $7,200.
