Recent rainfall has meant the return of mosquitos.
“That standing water allows mosquitos to breed, and become more prevalent in our environment,” said Brazos County health authority Doctor Seth Sullivan.
He reminded those watching his latest update from the health district to resume outdoor safety to avoid contact with mosquitos. The reminders included proper clothing and reduce outdoor activity during dawn and dusk periods of the day.
Sullivan did not mention any cases of West Nile Virus in his update, either.
