Driver Of Stolen Semi Who Crashed Into Brenham DPS Office Faces Several Charges

April 15, 2024 by Willy1550

No additional information has been released by the Department of Public Safety about the stolen semi that crashed into the Brenham driver’s license office on Friday, April 12th.

DPS has not released how many of the 14 casualties were and were not employees. DPS also has not released the identity of the person who died last Friday.

Washington County jail records say 42 year-old Clenard Parker was booked on charges of three counts of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, Evading Arrest Causing Serious Bodily Injury, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Parker remains held in lieu of bonds totaling two million dollars.

State Senator Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham said last Friday that she wants Parker prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
