Driver Of Stolen Semi Who Ran Into The Brenham DPS Office Faces More Charges

April 19, 2024 by Willy1550

The ongoing investigation following last Friday’s stolen semi crash into the Brenham driver’s license office now includes additional criminal charges.

The Department of Public Safety reports the Texas Rangers has charged Clenard Parker of Chappell Hill with Murder, Aggravated Assault of a Public Servant With a Deadly Weapon, Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon, and Criminal Mischief.

This is in addition to Unauthorized Use of the semi, Evading Arrest Causing Serious Bodily Injury, and three counts of Aggravated Assault With a Deadly Weapon.

Bonds on the original charges total two million dollars. Washington County’s jail website has not been updated to reflect the additional charges. D-P-S has not provided an update since last Monday on two victims who were hospitalized in critical but stable condition.
