A man received his prison sentence yesterday for drug dealing.

According to the Grimes County District Attorney’s Office, 32 year old Michael Ray Peterson Jr. was given 15 years after his arrest last year.

Texas DPS stopped Peterson for a traffic violation on FM 1774 in June 2019. Inside Peterson’s car, authorities found a stolen pistol, marijuana, crack cocaine, meth, Oxycodone pills, Ecstasy pills in the shape of President Donald Trump’s face, a scale, and a large amount of cash.

Peterson made a guilty plea and was sentenced by Judge Donald Kraemer. Assistant District Attorney David Armbruster said in the press release that this type of behavior is not tolerated in the county and that drug dealing will land you in jail.
This is Peterson’s first prison sentence.

He waits in the Grimes County Jail until his transfer to prison.
