An elderly Navasota man was arrested last week on charged of indecency with a child.
According to Navasota PD, 77 year old Stash Valdez Ostigin, was arrested on November 20th after the department received a concerned report of an alleged incident with a three year old.
Navasota PD chief Shawn Myatt says their investigation is ongoing. But, Ostigin was arrested on a second degree felony charge of indecency with a child by sexual contact.
The identity of the victim is being withheld due to the age and nature of the case. Ostigin waits in the Grimes County Jail on a $250,000 bond. We will update you on this story as we hear more.
