Emergency crews in Grimes County responded to a rollover crash east of Navasota on Wednesday. The crash happened on Highway 105 near County Road 314.
According to an update from the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Kenworth Truck tractor was traveling eastbound when it approached slower traffic due to a bicyclist and dog traveling westbound in the eastbound shoulder. The Kenworth swerved into the westbound lanes striking a 2018 Ford Explorer. The Ford was then struck again by a 2020 Chevrolet pick-up traveling westbound behind the Ford.
The Kenworth went into the westbound ditch where it overturned and began to leak diesel fuel. All occupants were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
