An east Texas man had to be subdued by five police officers in College Station Monday, after his arrest on eight charges.
That happened at the Post Oak Mall, according to the College Station Police arrest report. Authorities got a 9-1-1 call about a car that nearly hit a few vehicles. The driver was then seen getting out, kissing the ground, and then rubbing his cell phone on the ground. The report notes that the driver’s pants and feet were covered in mud.
Eventually, they arrested 52 year old Mark Fisher of Corrigan, which is south of Lufkin. He was charged with DWI, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG4, Possession of a Controlled Substance PG2, Possession of Marijuana, Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, Harassment of a Public Servant (spitting at one officer), Resisting Arrest, and Criminal Mischief, for kicking a patrol door hard enough to cause an estimated $700 of damage.
He remains in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $28,500.
