Brazos Valley CattleWomen 5th Annual Steak Dinner & Dance
My name is Andrea Woods. I am the president of the Brazos Valley CattleWomen. Each year we help to kick off the TAMU Beef Cattle Short Course by hosting a Steak Dinner & Dance. We are a 501c3 that raises funds to give scholarships to local students who wish to continue their education in agriculture. We also give back to six local youth county livestock shows in the form off add-ons to ALL beef exhibitors.
This year our 5th Annual BVCW Steak Dinner & Dance will be held on Saturday, August 1st at the Brazos County Expo Center. Doors/bars open at 5:30 pm. Entertainment will last until 11 pm. This year we have the Risky Liver Band playing live music for us for the 4th year in a row. We will have a live auction featuring, among other things, a fully guided offshore red snapper fishing trip for 6. We also have a silent auction and a raffle. Sponsorships are still available. Tickets are $75/person.
