Facebook And Other Meta-Owned Platforms Experience Worldwide Outage

If you went to check Facebook earlier this morning, and found you had been logged out, and couldn’t log back in, you’re not alone.

Around 9 am today hundreds of thousands of users reported Facebook being down on the mobile and desktop apps.

Other Meta-owned platforms were affected including Instagram, Threads, and Whatsapp.

According to https://downdetector.com/ today, at 9:24am central time, over 530,000 outage reports had been made on Facebook alone, with 76% reporting “Login” as the issue.

Facebook has since been restored for many, but some states are still having issues. And many are still having issues with other Meta-owned platforms such as Instagram.
