Authorities in Washington County are investigating a “possible drowning” at Lake Somerville this weekend.
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office says a person fell from their boat near the Overlook Marina during the noon hour Sunday. They were treated by Washington County EMS, transferred to a medical facility in Brenham, before dying at a College Station hospital.
No further information has been released. The victim’s name is being withheld until the family is notified.
