A crash this morning in Grimes County resulted in one fatality.
It happened just before 11 am between Anderson and Richards near FM 2819 east of FM 2562. Troopers say that the driver of a Toyota SUV lost control of the vehicle and went into the path of an oncoming GMC Truck.
The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in that vehicle was taken via helicopter to CHI St. Joseph in Bryan in critical condition.
The driver of the GMC truck was taken to CHI St Joseph as well with non-life threatening injuries.
No other information was released.
