A Navasota woman was killed yesterday afternoon after a two vehicle crash west of town.
Texas DPS says it happened around 1 pm on Highway 105 at FM 159. They say an 18 wheeler was travelling eastbound on Highway 105, when a Chevrolet Malibu travelling southbound on FM 159 ran a stop sign, and struck the 18 wheeler.
50 year old Kimberly Fridel of Navasota, the driver in the Chevrolet, was killed in the crash.
The driver of the 18 wheeler was uninjured.
