The 30th annual Feast of Caring, benefiting the Brazos Valley Food Bank, will take place this Wednesday. Executive Director Theresa Mangapora says the meal of sausage, beans and rice is free, but they are asking for donations.
Mangapora says one reason is that food prices are really high.
Mangapora says the other reason is that people in need are also dealing with high utility bills this time of year. The come and go lunch is from 11am until 1pm at the Brazos Center. Monetary donations can also be made online at bvfb.org
