According to the indictment, numerous thefts occurred at Dynalloy Industries in south Brazos County. The thefts happened between December 2014 and May 2015, which was reported to the Brazos county Sheriff’s Office by a neighbor and customer of the business north of Navasota.

Surface was sentences to 10 years in prison plus full restitution, with review of the punishment by a judge after he served 90 to 180 days.

His brother, 46 year old Michael Surface of Navasota, awaits his trial and remains out of jail on bond.
