Former Aggie basketball, current Lakers player Alex Caruso arrested at Easterwood Airport

June 23, 2021 by Willy1550

A member of last season’s NBA champion Los Angeles Lakers was arrested at College Station’s airport.

According to the arrest report from Texas A&M police, Alex Caruso admitted to possessing 16-hundredths of an ounce of marijuana and a grinder that a TSA agent found during a search of a bag in the secured area of the airport.

The College Station native and Texas A&M alum was released from jail after posting a three thousand dollar bond on a misdemeanor possession charge and paying a 12 hundred dollar fine plus court costs for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Caruso recently finished his fourth season with the Lakers, who were eliminated from the NBA playoffs earlier this month by the Phoenix Suns.
