Former Navasota resident arrested again for involvement in mall theft

May 18, 2020 by Andre Perrard

A former Navasota resident was arrested for the second time in seven months, after being accused of taking more than three thousand dollars of clothes from a store at Post oak Mall.

Authorities in College Station say 20 year old College Station resident Skylett Duffie, formerly of Navasota, was arrested again on Saturday. She faces new charges of going into the Dillard’s men’s store in November, and taking 44 Polo brand items, valued around $3,300.

That theft allegedly happened two weeks after she was arrested for taking part in taking nearly 71 PINK brand clothing items from the Victoria’s Secret. You can read more about that story here.

Duffie has since bailed out of jail, after posting 25 thousand dollars bond. According to online records, she is also awaiting four trials in Brazos County courts on misdemeanor charges.
