Former Navasota resident arrested for second time in 12 months after assaulting juvenile girl

December 7, 2020 by Willy1550

A woman formerly from Navasota, who was involved in theft of clothing at Post Oak Mall in 2019, has been arrested on charges of kicking, striking and dragging a 14 year old girl.

According to College Station police, they responded to the Lincoln Rec Center last Thursday for a disturbance, where ultimately arrested 20 year old Skylett Duffie, formerly of Navasota but currently of College Station.

Duffie stated she was breaking up a fight among juveniles. The victim said she was intentionally assaulted, and one witness said Duffie was not breaking up the fight.

There are currently five criminal cases pending against Duffie, which stem from last years theft of clothing from the Dillard’s men’s store and Victoria’s Secret.

She is held in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling 72 thousand dollars.
