A College Station woman, formerly from Navasota, was arrested Monday for trying to run over her girlfriend for the second time this summer.
21 year old Skylett Duffie was picked up on a warrant from Bryan police accusing her of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. According to BPD, on June 27th Duffie’s vehicle struck a building instead of the girlfriend. Duffie was out on bond from her arrest on June 13th, when she is accused of striking five parked vehicles instead of the girlfriend.
These arrests come after Duffie appeared in Brazos County district court May 26th and 27th to enter guilty pleas in three felony and five misdemeanor cases. That includes stealing more than seven thousand dollars in merchandise from three stores at Post Oak Mall where she does not have to pay restitution.
She also admitted to felony injury to a child and misdemeanor filing a false police report and interfering with a police investigation. Those plea agreements included serving jail time of up to 310 days. Online records do not show she has served any of that time.
Duffie remains in jail, for the seventh time in the last 14 months, on the new charge with bonds set at $65,000.
