Former Navasota woman celebrating her birthday arrested after altercation with bar manager

January 4, 2022 by Andre Perrard

A former Navasota woman’s birthday turns sour after attempting to leave a bar with a full drink, and getting into an altercation with bar management.

That happened Sunday night in the Northgate District, specifically at Paddock Lane. That is where 35 year old Roxane Morales of Bryan, formerly Navasota, left the bar with a fishbowl drink. The manager caught up with her down the street, and took the drink away from Morales.

Morales then hit the manager in the back of her head, to which the manager did not press any charges.

Due to Morales’ intoxicated stated, and attempting a physical confrontation with bar staff, she was charged with Public Intoxication, and later released.
